Mia found a blue envelope on her window. There was no name on it, only a tiny drawing of a cloud. Inside, a note said, “One letter is lost. Will you help?” Mia folded the envelope into a paper plane.

The plane grew until Mia could climb inside. Up they flew, above the roofs! A small cloud waved at her. “I deliver letters,” it said. “But this one has no address.” Mia opened it. “Thank you for helping my garden grow,” she read.

“Who helps a garden grow?” Mia wondered. The sun? The bees? Then she felt a cool drop on her nose. “You do!” she told the cloud. “The letter is for you.” The cloud turned pink with joy. That afternoon, the town had the gentlest rain.
